The UMKC Institute for Human Development’s LifeCourse Nexus invites you to the 11th Annual Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) Showcase, May 18–20, 2027, at the Westin Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
This year’s theme, Paths and Possibilities, celebrates the lifelong journey and the many experiences, transitions, choices, and opportunities that shape our lives from infancy through aging.
Together, we’ll explore how the Charting the LifeCourse framework helps people and families envision possibilities, build on strengths and experiences, navigate change, and pursue what matters most. We’ll also look at how these person-centered approaches can strengthen organizations, communities, and systems to create more possibilities for everyone.
Throughout the Showcase, people who use CtLC, family members, and professionals will share practical strategies, real-world experiences, and examples of CtLC in action. Sessions will offer opportunities for hands-on learning, collaboration, and new ways of thinking about how integrated supports can help people move toward their vision for a good life.
The CtLC Showcase is the signature annual event hosted by the LifeCourse Nexus, a national training and technical assistance center housed at the University of Missouri–Kansas City Institute for Human Development.
Registration opening soon for the 11th Annual Charting the LifeCourse Showcase.
